Review removal

Before you pay someone
to delete a bad review.

Your feed is full of ads promising to make bad reviews disappear. Here’s the part they skip: only Google removes a Google review, and only when it breaks Google’s rules. Whoever you pay, an honest one-star stays up — and the next one starts the fight all over again.

A removal request

Who decides

Google — not the company you paid

An honest bad review

Doesn’t break a rule, so it stays
5★

Your good reviews

Still look exactly like bought ones

How removal actually works.

No insider trick changes who makes the call. These are the platform’s own rules and the federal rule on reviews, in plain words.

1

Only Google decides

Anyone can report a review — you, or a company you hire. Only reviews that break Google’s policies are eligible to come down, and Google makes that decision.

2

Disagreeing isn’t a reason

Google’s own help page says not to report a review just because you disagree with it, and that it doesn’t get involved in conflicts between businesses and customers.

3

Threats are banned

Using a groundless legal threat, intimidation, or a knowingly false public accusation to prevent or remove a review is prohibited under the FTC’s Consumer Review Rule.

Even when one comes down, nothing changes.

Say a fake review does get removed. Your real reviews still look exactly like bought ones to a stranger deciding whether to call you. Nothing anywhere records that a single one of those people actually did business with you. And next month, the next review starts the whole fight again. You’re paying to argue about the past, on someone else’s page, under someone else’s rules.

Authyr works the other way around.

Stop fighting the last review. Start keeping proof of the good work.

1

A fair chance to make it right

A rough review reaches you first, privately, with up to 30 days to make things right with the customer. Resolve it, and the record shows you did — that’s why people believe what’s there.

2

A trace on every review

A review can only start from a recorded visit to your business — a scan at your counter or a booking. Every one traces back to the business it’s about.

3

Signed, on your own site

Each record is signed, lives on your own website, and belongs to you. Anyone can check it without taking your word — or ours — for it.

Honest businesses should come out ahead.

When every review traces back to a real visit, good work finally adds up to something a stranger can trust — and a bad review gets answered, not buried. What Authyr won’t do: remove your Google reviews, or write, buy or filter reviews for you. What it will do: bring a rough review to you first, so you can make it right.

Stop deleting. Start proving.

Keep a record of the good work you already do — one nobody can fake their way around, with a fair chance to make things right when a customer is unhappy.
